Nana J’s!!! What an unexpected surprise. Damn fine grub! Seems the selection changes regularly too. Probably cannot keep up with everybody wanting this food! I will have to try all the meats and fixn’s. We got the chicken breast with some sides. I believe the chicken is, bedded in rice. It all was good. When I picked it up the woman was very friendly. They got my order and made sure it was right, and then prepared my drinks to go. When I picked up the bag, it must have weighed 10 pounds. When I got home I was like, this is a lot of food!! Very tasty!! Great price for everything too. Where else can you get home cooking like this. The signage on the building was not readily in sight, but I did find it. Just had to circle back around and make a quick loop. Now, I know exactly when to turn. Hahahaha. I am happy this place is just down the street from me. I am sure we will be visiting often. I want some of that sweet tea, but I am not sure I have enough insulin at home to cover me. We will see ya soon Nana J’s.

We are so very thankful for Nana J and her team! We look forward to her meals on Thanksgiving. You can taste the love and soul she puts into everything 10/10. I’m not a fan of mac and cheese but I’ll gobble hers and go for seconds. Also, very generous portions. We always have leftovers, which tastes even better the next day.

Stopped in here today for the very first time and got two meals to go. The service was exceptional and the food was just wow. This was better than mom's cooking, and there's a lot to eat too. I'll be back whenever I'm in the neighborhood. Literally the best meal I've had in a long time!!

This was the best soul food I've had in a while! I had the smothered pork chops with field/snap peas and collard greens. It was seasoned to perfection! Oh and the LEMONADE! I could drink it by the gallon! It was SO delicious! The service was the owners daughter and she was super sweet. She made the atmosphere very hospitable and I can tell she takes the time to get to know her customers! 10/10 recommend!

we stopped for the meat and 3 sides. extra hot. crispy 3 full size thighs, plus rice and flavorful brown gravy, purple hull peas smothered down, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans all with cornbread. including a dessert and tea plus mints. Superior, friendly service in a very clean restaurant. we will be back for great home style cooking. other meats (turkey wings, meatloaf, smothered pork... and veggies were available.

The food was absolutely amazing. It took me back to my childhood in Florida. The service matched the food, nothing but good vibes. I will definitely be coming back anytime I’m close by.

Absolutely amazing. 5 different state for Vacation . 2 Adults to kids average meal cost 200. Plus . Spent 80 dollers here food was amazing best meal I've had in a long time . You leave stuffed . I can't rave about this place enough!! From the moment you walk in, you feel like family. Shakur, was so friendly and welcoming. She gave a fantastic story about the resteraunt and told us the history. Everything was made to order. I had the wings , greens and fried okra, I had Shakur pick my sides, the okra was the best I've ever had. I also got a pork Chop and it didn't disappoint. The banana pudding was delicious as was the homemade pecan candy. Everything and I mean everything thing was fantastic! Only thing that was disappointing, is the fact that I'll most likely never get back here to eat their delicious food , anytime in the near future! Thank you for everything!
